Neighbors bets can be placed in the track view, accessed by tapping the track view tab above the betting table. To place a Neighbors bet tap one of the numbered Neighbors buttons to select the number of adjacent numbers you wish to bet on, then tap on a number on the table. A bet will be placed on the number tapped as well as the numbers adjacent to it. For example, if the Neighbors button 1 is selected and a bet is placed on the number 1, a bet will also be placed on the numbers 33 and 20. If the Neighbors button 5 is selected and a bet is placed on the number 1, a bet will also be placed on the numbers 10, 5, 24, 16, 33, 20, 14, 31, 9 and 22. If any of the numbers in a Neighbors bet win, a payout of 35:1 is awarded.
    2. Voisins du Zero means “Neighbors of Zero”. These are the numbers positioned between 22 and 25 on the wheel. Click Voisins Du Zero on the track view to place the bet. 9 chips of the selected value are staked in total:
      • 2 chips are staked as a triplet bet on 0/2/3
      • 1 chip is staked as a split bet on 4/7
      • 1 chip is staked as a split bet on 12/15
      • 1 chip is staked as a split bet on 18/21

4, 7, 12, 15, 18, 19, 21, 22, 32, or 35 17 chips (17:1) + 1 chip
25, 26, 28, or 29 16 chips (8:1) + 2 chips
    1. Tiers bets cover one-third of the table, the numbers which are positioned on the third of the wheel opposite 0, i.e. between 27 and 33. Click Tier on the track view to place the bet. 6 chips of the selected value are staked in total:
      • 1 chip is staked as a split bet on 5/8
      • 1 chip is staked as a split bet on 10/11
      • 1 chip is staked as a split bet on 13/16
      • 1 chip is staked as a split bet on 23/24

    1. Orphelins bets covers 8 numbers. Orphelins means „Orphans”; these numbers make up the two areas of the wheel that are not included in either Tiers or Voisins du Zero bets. Click Orphelins on the track view to place the bet. 5 chips of the selected value are staked in total:
      • 1 chip is staked as a straight bet on 1
      • 1 chip is staked as a split bet on 6/9
      • 1 chip is staked as a split bet on 14/17
      • 1 chip is staked as a split bet on 17/20
      • 1 chip is staked as a split bet on 31/34

Note that number 17 participates in two splits (14/17 and 17/20). The payouts for Orphelins bet are as follows:

Winning Number Payout
6, 9, 14, 20, 31 17 chips (17:1) + 1 chip
1 35 chips (35:1) + 1 chip
17 34 chips (17:1) + 2 chips

Notes:

  • A win will return any chips bet on the winning number and award a payout based on the type of bet.
  • The actual payout depends on the number of chips involved in the bet. For example, if the bet is placed on five consecutive numbers and one of them is hit, the payout is 35 + 1 − 5 = 31 chips.

DRAGON BONUS

If the ball lands on a position on which you have placed a Dragon Bonus token and a regular chip, the Dragon Bonus feature will trigger. Click CONTINUE to start the bonus round.

Note: placing a Dragon Bonus token on a number will cancel other bet payouts for that number if the Dragon Bonus is won. For example, if you place a Straight Up bet and a Dragon Bonus token on number 7, and the ball lands on number 7, then you will trigger the Dragon Bonus but you will not win a Straight Up payout.

The bonus round has 2 stages: the outer wheel spin and the inner wheel spin.

The outer wheel can double the win multipliers on the inner wheel or add 2 pointers to the inner wheel.

Details are below on what each segment triggers:

  • 3 POINTERS – 2 more pointers are added to the inner wheel (making a total of 3 pointers), and you will then be prompted to spin the inner wheel. The multipliers the pointers land on are added together. Note: when the 3 pointers stop they cannot land on the same wheel segment. Pointers will spin in different directions and at different speeds, and will stop one after another randomly.
  • BOOST x 2 – the multipliers on the inner wheel are doubled, and you are then prompted to spin the inner wheel.
  • SPIN – prompts you to spin the inner wheel, with no extra prize.

The inner wheel can award 1 or more win multipliers (depending on the number of pointers) and a respin. When entering the second stage, the inner wheel expands to cover the outer reel.

  • RESPIN – The inner wheel has 8 segments with multipliers x6, x8, x10, x15, x18 and x20 (unless these values have been doubled). If a pointer lands on the same segment as the RESPIN frame, you win the multiplier(s) the pointer(s) landed on and will then be prompted to spin the outer wheel again. The RESPIN frame will spin and randomly stop before the pointer(s) stop on the inner wheel. Note: you can win a maximum of 3 respins. After the 3rd respin, the RESPIN segment will not appear on the inner wheel.

Note: winning bets that can trigger the Bonus are: Straight, Spilt, Corner, Street and Line. Other winning bets (2 to 1, 1st 12, 2nd 12, 3rd 12, Even, Odd, Red, Black, 1-18, 19-36) cannot trigger the Dragon Bonus feature.

Note: Your Dragon Bonus win is the Dragon Bonus bet multiplied by the multipliers won during the feature. The Dragon Bonus bet is the roulette bet that triggered the Dragon Bonus, divided by the number of positions the bet covered.

For example, if a 10 € Corner bet (which covers 4 positions on the betting table) triggers the Dragon Bonus then the Dragon Bonus bet will be 2.5 €. The win from the Dragon Bonus will then be 2.5 € multiplied by all the multipliers won during the Dragon Bonus round.

DRAGON JACKPOT

The Dragon Jackpot is a 4-level mystery progressive jackpot game. It is accumulated by all players’ stakes bet in all games which feature the Dragon Jackpot, among all online casinos that offer these games.

The trigger that starts the Jackpot game can randomly occur on any main game spin in any of the linked games, even if the spin has gained no winnings. A bet of any size can trigger the Jackpot game, but the higher your bet, the bigger your chance to enter the Dragon Jackpot. Entering the Jackpot game guarantees a win of one of the four Jackpots.

Upon entering the Jackpot game, the screen will reveal a wheel with 10 positions on it. Each position holds a coloured symbol that represents 1 of the 4 jackpots. To win a Jackpot, you have to collect 3 symbols of the same colour. For example, if you collect 3 red symbols, you will win the value in the red ticker or its equivalent in other currencies.

Spin the wheel by tapping on SPIN. Once you have collected 3 symbols of the same color, you win the corresponding Jackpot. At the end of the Jackpot game, a win screen displays your winnings. Tap CONTINUE to return to the main game.

The Dragon Jackpot works like this:

Seed (how much money the Jackpot starts out with): Green: €10
Blue: €100
Red: €1,000
Yellow: €20,000
Contribution rate (what percentage of each bet goes into the Jackpot): 1%
Win condition (the result you have to get to win the Jackpot): Entering the Dragon Jackpot guarantees a win.
Collect 3 symbols of the same color to win the corresponding Jackpot amount.
Win requirements (what you need to do to be eligible for the Jackpot): Play a game featuring the Dragon Jackpot.

*The amount of the respective Jackpot awarded in your local currency should be equivalent to its amount in Euro.

Please note:

  • The seed and Jackpot values are in EUR in the progressive network and their value in your local currency is dependent on the currency exchange rate specified by the casino.
  • The mechanics of the Dragon Jackpot prohibit simultaneous jackpot winnings.
  • Imperfections in the Internet connectivity may cause you to experience delays in Jackpot messages or updates, but they do not affect actual Jackpot wins.
  • If a Jackpot is being discontinued (a game is closed and removed from the casino), you will be notified of it by the casino.
  • There is a cap of EUR 0.1 contribution to the jackpot, meaning that if your total bet is more than EUR 10, the contribution will be just EUR 0.1. If you bet EUR 20 and activate the jackpot, your total bet will be EUR 20.10 (because the maximum contribution is EUR 0.1).

Note: the USD and GBP currencies have their own caps: for USD currency the cap is $0.1 and for GBP currency the cap is £0.1.

All the other currencies have the EUR cap.

Jackpot Limitations: – the player cannot bet on more than 30 numbers when the Dragon Jackpot feature is turned on. The larger the bet placed, the greater the chance of triggering the Dragon Jackpot feature, up to a limit of €1000. Bets larger than €1000 will not further increase the likelihood of triggering the Dragon Jackpot feature.

Note on disconnections: if you are disconnected from the Internet in the middle of the game, log in again into the casino. You will be automatically directed back to the game and you can continue the game from the point where it was broken. If you re-open the game without re-logging into the casino, the game will start from the very beginning. In both cases, your previous wins will be paid.

To check the results of your old games or find additional details about recent games, click the History button, available in the Menu. Use your regular username and password to log in and check the outcome of previous rounds of both desktop and mobile version of the game.

Note on malfunctions: a malfunction voids all pays and plays.

Note on unresolved bets: unresolved bets placed become void after 90 days.

The minimum theoretical percentage return to player (RTP) is 97.02% and the maximum theoretical percentage return to player (RTP) is 98.30%. Both include Jackpot Contribution of 1.00%.

Live Lightning Roulette

The revolutionised, extended Roulette game that will light up your Live Casino

LIVE LIGHTNING ROULETTE THAT’S ELECTRIFYING
Blending world-class Live Roulette with advanced RNG gameplay, Evolution Lightning Roulette is a revolutionised extended Roulette game offering a unique player experience. All the usual Roulette bets are here, plus extra chances to win with added Lucky Numbers and Lucky Payouts. There’s an electrifying User Interface for maximum player thrills, too, and it’s all set in a stunning black and gold Art Deco environment. It’s our most impressive production yet, and a sure way to light up your Live Casino.

Play this online roulete game at Live Online Casinos

Thanks to massive multiplayer scalability, Lightning Roulette can be played by a virtually unlimited number of concurrent players. And Direct Game Launch means that you can welcome in players not only from your Live Casino lobby but also from links in any web page, email or text.
Live Lightning Roulette

Our unique Lightning Roulette is like no other Roulette game. Not only is it visually stunning, it also adds high-payout RNG Lucky Number wins to every game round.

All the familiar elements of our world-class Live Roulette are here — the live wheel, the live dealer, the full line-up of Roulette bets.

But Lightning Roulette adds a whole lot more for an electrifying player experience and extra chances to win. In each game round, between one and five Lucky Numbers are struck by lightning and given multiplied payouts of between 50x and 500x.

With its involving game show-style environment with advanced sound and lighting effects, Lightning Roulette is unique and electrifying spin on traditional Roulette.
Lucky Numbers and Lucky Payouts

In Lightning Roulette, players can bet on the full range of Roulette bets just as they would in our standard European Live Roulette.

However, they also get additional chances to win through randomly generated Lucky Numbers and Lucky Payouts (multipliers of 50x, 100x, 200x, 300x, 400x and 500x)

After all player bets are accepted, the amount of Lucky Numbers (one to five), the Lucky Numbers themselves and the amounts of the Lucky Payouts are randomly generated. Each Lucky Number pays one of the Lucky Payouts of between 50 and 500:1 if the ball lands on the Lucky Number and if the player has made a Straight Up bet* on that number.

Non-multiplied Straight Bets pay 30:1. All other bets such as splits, corners, red/black and dozens pay the same as standard Roulette.

Evolution Gaming Live Roulette Games

Live Roulette as never seen before
Evolution Live Roulette offers more for everyone. There are multiple game variants, the largest number of mainstream, VIP and native speaking dealer solutions, and dedicated tables for optimum control over your online brand, and even Dual Play Roulette, which brings together land-based and online players at the same on-premise tables. Then there are innovations such as Immersive Roulette, Live Double Ball Roulette, Mini Live Roulette and Direct Game Launch from any web link, email or text, to help you win further new customers and cross-sell to other segments such as sportsbook.

Players enjoy a world-class live gaming experience. There’s a choice of game views and rich features such as Chat, Game History, Statistics, Hot and Cold numbers, a personal Favourite Bets menu in which up to 15 bets can be saved, and mobile play that allows full-screen HD video.

For operators the opportunities to drive incremental revenue and extend the gaming floor are massive. Scalability means thousands of concurrent players can enjoy the live games on multiple devices – and players on mobile have access to all tables for any mobile-enabled game, not just one or two tables. Evolution Live Roulette can also be wrapped in an App for proven uplifts to KPIs, and integrated with land-based casino operations as an on-premise solution.

Immersive Roulette

A world-first from Evolution, Immersive Roulette is a uniquely different premium-quality game that draws players into the action. It’s also ideal for drawing in new customers to your site and for cross-selling the unique thrill of Live Roulette to RNG and sportsbook players.

Featuring Hollywood-style multiple cameras, this advanced Live Roulette variant gets players ‘up close’ to the action. As the live dealer spins the wheel, players can see and follow every movement of the ball – all in 200 frames-per-second HD video and with a slow motion replay of the winning number-colour as the ball comes to rest.

Immersive Roulette was awarded EGR’s Game of the Year 2014, voted by operators of the sector.
Immersive Lite

Immersive Lite gives licensees the option to add the multi-camera Immersive experience to their Evolution dedicated Live Roulette tables. The ‘Lite’ studio set-up is fully customisable. Licensees simply choose the number of cameras, the shot angles and, where licensees have multiple dedicated tables, brief cutaway shots of other tables heighten the Live Casino atmosphere.

Immersive Lite omits the slow-motion replays of the full Immersive Roulette offering, but adds extra dynamism and appeal to your dedicated Live Roulette table.
Immersive Lite Immersive Lite
European Roulette

European Roulette is our core Live Roulette game for players in Europe and beyond. Offering the largest number of standard and VIP tables available from a single source, it’s the ultimate world-class Live Roulette experience for players to enjoy across the widest range of devices. As with all Evolution Live Casino games that support mobile play, every table is available on every supported device, with everything beautifully optimised for the specific device, OS and screen size.

The online live game experience is as real as it gets, with live interaction, a user-friendly interface and rich features such as Favourite Bets. This personal menu saves up to 15 Favourite Bets for each player, speeding up betting for everyone and making complex betting simple for more experienced players.
Speed Roulette

A super-fast version of our live dealer Roulette in which game rounds take just 25 seconds from spin to spin. That’s around 50% of the duration of a game round in our standard Live Roulette and Immersive Roulette games. As a result, Roulette lovers can pack more betting opportunities and more excitement into every playing session.

This is Roulette game action in the fast lane with a custom designed wheel and experienced live dealers. Betting occurs only during the spin so there’s no ‘dead time’ and there’s no time lost in getting on with the next spin, either, thanks to fast video-based winning number recognition.
French Roulette

french roulette

Another world-class variant of Roulette and another way to ensure that players can always play the games they love. As in European Roulette, the French Roulette wheel features the numbers 1 to 36 and a single zero. However, in French Roulette there’s the La Partage rule: if a player makes an even-money bet and the ball lands on zero, he or she loses only half their bet. French Roulette also uses a slightly different table layout with some bet types named in French.

Native Speaking Roulette

By offering the world’s widest range of ready-to-roll and bespoke native speaking dealer solutions, we make it easy for operators to speak the customer’s language. It’s a proven way to significantly increase player acquisition numbers and average spend per existing players, and to generate the strongest player-dealer rapport.

London Roulette, Venezia Roulette, Deutsches Roulette and Svensk Roulette can all be added almost instantly to an operator’s Live Casino service. Each ‘localised’ service replicates the look and language of a top land-based casino in a given country or city, with the tables hosted by experienced native speaking dealers from that area.

Blue screen technology, as used in London Roulette, is particularly effective in creating the illusion of spacious, opulent casino interiors in just a few square metres of studio floor space. Blue screen also enables the same native speaking dealer and table to feature in different interiors, so it can be highly cost effective for operators with multiple brands.

In addition to the solutions mentioned above, we can source top native speaking dealers for virtually any language.

We can also create dedicated native speaking dealer solutions, as we have done for Danish state-owned operator Danske Licens Spil.
Live Double Ball Roulette

Double Ball Roulette

Another world-first from Evolution — and not available from any other Live Casino provider — Double Ball Roulette is a unique, innovative Roulette variant.

Two balls deliver two winning numbers from a single spin. At the push of a button the live dealer sends the two balls shooting from a special patented device. There are new and exciting betting opportunities and more frequent payouts of up to 1,300 to 1. Proven in the land-based sector, the game is a unique attraction that significantly increases play and hold.

Created in partnership with Games Marketing, this premium game is available only to Evolution licensees that opt for the Games Marketing side bets in our Live Blackjack or Live Baccarat games.

Dual Play Roulette

Dual Play Roulette

Land-based and online convergence doesn’t get any more exciting than this. Dual Play Roulette adds dual play capability to any Roulette table in your land-based casino so that on-premise seated players and a virtually unlimited number of additional online players can play the same games at the same table.

Customers around the Dual Play table or in other areas of the casino, such as bars and restaurants, can follow the live game action or bet at the table on their own tablets and smartphones. Other players anywhere in the world (subject to jurisdiction rules) can also join the same games on their desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones.

Dual Play is the perfect way to extend service to customers in your venue, while also relaying the unique excitement of your casino and your brand to a greatly extended audience of new players online.

Mini Live Roulette

A mini-window variant of our world-leading Live Roulette, this delivers the big attraction of our standard European Live Roulette but in a scaled-down game window measuring 200×230 pixels. Mini Live Roulette’s smaller window means multiplied revenue opportunity as players can play two or more games simultaneously. The smaller window is also ideal for including in your sportsbook, RNG games and bingo pages to cross-sell the excitement of Live Casino.
Slingshot Auto Roulette

Available as both mainstream and VIP tables, Slingshot Auto Roulette features fast-paced, real live-wheel action with a high quality look-and-feel. More exciting and authentic than RNG Roulette, our Slingshot Auto Roulette a great alternative or addition to live dealer Live Roulette.

In Slingshot Auto Roulette, there’s no live dealer. Instead the live game is powered by an advanced, fully automated, precision Roulette wheel capable of 60 to 80 games per hour, 24 hours a day. Further benefits for operators include half-currency betting units for wider audience appeal, faster game completion than in Live Roulette, and low cost of ownership.
American Roulette

american roulette

Our American Roulette adds extra choice and variety to our Live Roulette line up. This double-zero variant adds extra excitement for players, including not only the 1–36 and zero (0), but also an additional double-zero number (00) on the wheel and table layout.

This popular variant has lower betting limits than other Roulette variants, with an additional ‘Five Bet’ for yet more variety and choice.

Live Dual Roulette

Live Dual Roulette Playtech

Dual Roulette is a method which allows you to choose two of the available Live Roulette tables and play both in the same game window. Two side-by-side Live Roulette game tables in the same window, lets you play both tables without the need to open another game.

The two roulette wheels playing in the same window are not synchronized and do not share bets or results. You can play each of the two roulettes separately by selecting the specific table of each from the main lobby. Dual Roulette gives you the ability to double your playing experience and minimize the idle time you spend between spins!

Both of the wheels in this Dual Roulette are regular Live Roulette games: Live Roulette is played with a live dealer and a real Roulette table. We use standard European Roulette rules. The following guide discusses each of the two roulette tables separately:

  • There is probably a game round in progress at the moment you enter. Please wait until the current game round is finished. You can then place your bets.
  • Click on a chip of desired value to select it. Then click on any bet area on the table to place your bet there (see European Roulette Rules about betting options). Every click on the area adds one chip to the bet. Select another chip if you wish to increase the bet by some other amount. Shift-clicking on the area removes one chip. You can place several chips into several areas at the same time.
  • You have a limited amount of time from the moment a round is started to place a bet. Then the next spin is made and if your bet wins, you receive your winnings. You can skip a turn by simply not placing any bets on the table. When finished placing your bets, click the Confirm button.

Confirming Bets

You must confirm your bet. This can either be done:

  • Manually, by clicking Confirm after each bet.

or

  • If supported by your service provider, automatically, at the end of the betting time (Enable auto confirmed bets must be activated in the Options menu).
Please note, that when automatic confirmation of bets is enabled the Confirm button does not appear.

About Online Roulette

Roulette Basics

The term ‘roulette’ comes from a French word meaning ‘little wheel’, which of course refers to the wheel set into the table. The croupier spins the wheel, with a ball inside, to create a random result. The ball lands in one of 37 (38 in American roulette) coloured and numbered pockets.

The players place bets on this result; a specific number, red or black numbers, a certain grouping of numbers, high or low and so on, each with different probabilities and different pay outs accordingly. This classic game of chance appears confusing at first, because of the nature of the table with ranks of numbers, but it’s easy to learn and requires no particular skill.

How to Play Roulette Like an Expert

Stick to these three simple principles and you will be playing roulette like a pro in no time:

Know the Wheel

A large part of roulette is simply understanding the wheel. Specifically, remembering that the green pocket or 0 is always there, is important to understanding roulette. The constant chance of hitting it does affect the odds. For example, betting red or black should be a 50/50 call, but with a single green space, your 50% chance becomes 48.6%. This is worse still with American roulette.

Bet Types

Roulette terminology can become confusing when the more complicated bets come into play. Many players will move on quickly from playing a simple red or black, to combinations of numbers. The other most obvious bet is a single number (also called a ‘straight’), which is the least likely to succeed but also the best paying. A more comfortable bet is the first, second or third dozen, which is betting on the numbers 1-12, 13-24 or 25-36. There are several unusual types of bet, which are discussed in the glossary below..

Take Your Time

Roulette is typically a game of careful, small betting over a long time, not big bets on high odds. Winning or losing at roulette is down to chance rather than skill, but there are strategies to try out. The Martingale strategy suggest that you double your stake until you win, then start again, with even money outside bets.

Win at Roulette – Our Top Tips

“Remember the green 0. This always reduces your chance to win a bet by a small degree”

“American roulette has two green pockets, so choose European unless some other rules are in play that make American favourable”

“Roulette is so chance based that the only real strategy is to know when to stop”

“Know the types of bets available and their odds”

Roulette Strategy

Roulette is very chance-based, with little input from skill. The only choice input that the player has is which numbers or colours to bet on. For that reason, the simplest way to improve your chances is to place the bet with the best odds, which is red or black, or alternatively odds or evens. This gives an almost 50% chance to win each time, but of course there’s always the house edge. Pay outs are also lower as a result.

Another way to improve the chances of winning is to play European or French roulette over American, thanks to the slightly smaller house edge. However, watch out for house rules that affect the edge further.

Roulette Rules

The core rules of roulette as played in a casino are simple. First, the croupier takes bets from the players at the table. Players may place chips equivalent to how much they wish to bet, on any number, colour or other box on the table that represents a bet. The wheel is spun in one direction and the ball in the other.

Most croupiers will still accept bets once the ball starts rolling, until announcing that no more are being taken. Once the ball lands on a certain number, the result is checked and a marker or ‘dolly’ is placed on the winning number. Until this is removed, no changes can be made except the croupier resetting the table and placing winnings.

Each table, varying from casino to casino or online game variation, will have its own specific rules. These include the minimum and maximum bet and the exact pay out amounts for certain bets.

Types of Roulette

The two most important types of roulette are European (or French) and American. The wheel itself is different for each type. European roulette has 37 pockets- the numbers 1-36 and a green 0.

American roulette has 38 pockets- the numbers 1-36 again but this time there is a 0 and a 00. A result of 0 is a win for the house, or the ‘house edge’, so American roulette is slightly harder to win. This skews the probability of any particular bet paying off. A single straight bet on a European wheel is a 1 in 37 chance, but it’s a 1 in 38 chance on an American wheel.

American roulette wheels are also notable by the numbers being in sequential order (alternating on opposite sides of the wheel), while European wheels place the numbers at random. This has little bearing on the game, however. French and European roulette are interchangeable terms for the same thing and may also be called ‘single zero’ roulette. French Roulette can also have the slight difference of having a particular board layout.

There are many online casinos offering roulette, thanks to the huge popularity of this game. Different sites offer roulette by different providers, with varying styles, rulesets and special editions.

History of Roulette

Roulette was first devised in 18th century France, though a primitive version is credited to Blaise Pascal in the 17th century, a by-product of his search for a perpetual motion machine.

There are several games which have influenced the use of a wheel in roulette, including an existing French board game of the same name, the English wheel games Roly-Poly and Reiner, the Italian board games Hoca and Biribi and more. The game as it stands today was played as early as 1796 in Paris, described in a novel.

These first games used red and black markers for the house pockets, but green was soon introduced to avoid confusion. In fact, two house pockets were normal until in 1843 two Frenchmen, François and Louis Blanc, created the single 0 variant to compete with other casinos. When the game moved to America, an Eagle slot was introduced to represent liberty, but of course this increased the house edge more and was eventually dropped. The single 0 game spread a lot more in Europe after the Blanc family moved their operations to Monte Carlo and established a mecca for the gambling elite.

While Monte Carlo represented the sophisticated French game, American players kept two house pockets and their rules became more streamlined and the betting table became simplified, in efforts to reduce cheating and corruption. This style later spread out and dominated the nature of the game across the world, regardless of number of 0s.

Roulette in the movies

Casablanca (1942)

Now over 70 years old, Michael Curtiz’s World War II masterpiece remains one of the most beloved cinematic works ever to come out of Hollywood. It won three Academy Awards (Outstanding Motion Picture, Best Director and Best Screenplay) and still ranks highly on any all-time top 100 list worth its salt.

But did you know that Casablanca was also one of the very first major films to feature the game of roulette?

The scene in question sees a young man named Jan attempting to win enough money to buy visas to the United States for him and his new wife, which was an extremely expensive endeavour during wartime.

But he gets a helping hand from Rick Blaine (Humphrey Bogart), the owner of Rick’s Cafe Americain nightclub and gambling den, who urges Jan to bet everything on 22. The croupier takes the hint from his boss and, lo and behold, 22 hits twice in a row.

Although it perpetuates certain myths about how casino operators might rig roulette games, the scene also highlights Casablanca’s immense quotability. When a disgruntled punter questions whether Rick’s games are honest, he gets the reply: “As honest as the day is long.”

Indecent Proposal (1993)

There aren’t many movie lists out there that would mention Casablanca and Indecent Proposal in the same breath.

For while the former won three Oscars, the latter claimed an inglorious treble at the 1994 Razzie Awards – including Worst Picture and a Worst Supporting Actor gong for Woody Harrelson.

With that being said, the early stages of Adrian Lyne’s would-be sexy thriller definitely draw some inspiration from the aforementioned roulette scene in Casablanca.

David Murphy (Harrelson) and Diana Murphy (Demi Moore) head to Las Vegas with the bright idea of hitting the casinos and winning enough cash to finance David’s dream real estate project.

So they put all of their money on red at the roulette table, only to lose the lot.

With their life’s savings gone, the pair wind up accepting billionaire John Gage’s (Robert Redford) offer of $1 million in exchange for one night with Diana.

It hasn’t quite got the same feel-good ring to it as the Casablanca scene, does it?

Run Lola Run (1998)

If you haven’t seen this highly acclaimed German thriller, do yourself a favour and check it out.

It won 26 international prizes following its 1998 release, including the Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival and some seven titles at the German Film Awards.

The plot is simple enough: Lola (Franka Potente) gets a phone call and is informed that if she doesn’t come up with 100,000 Deutsche Mark within the next 20 minutes, her boyfriend will die.

But instead of settling for a single story arc, director Tom Tykwer offers three separate scenarios (not unlike Sliding Doors, which was released the same year) and mixes live action with cartoon sequences.

In the third and final scenario, Lola enters a casino and heads straight for the roulette table.

She bets 100 marks on number 20 and wins, then presses her stake and wins again for a total windfall of 122,500 DM.

Again, there’s a tilt of the cap to Casablanca here, as Jan did much the same thing (albeit on 22) when playing for his visa money at Rick’s Cafe Americain.

Croupier (1998)

As you might gather from the title, the devil’s wheel features rather prominently in this British neo-noir cult hit.

While perhaps not as well known as some of the other titles on this list, Croupier did gain significant critical attention in the United Kingdom and North America.

It also launched the then-fledging career of a certain Clive Owen, who has since gone on to star in global hits such as Gosford Park, Children of Men, The Bourne Identity and Closer.

The story follows Jack Manfred (Owen), a struggling writer who decides to bite the bullet and start working as a croupier in order to make ends meet.

Not only does Jack find inspiration for his writing, he also becomes intwined in a plot to rob the casino at which he works.

The Deer Hunter (1978)

If you’ve seen this critically acclaimed Vietnam War epic, you might be wondering how you missed the casino scene amongst all the gritty drama.

But we’re talking about a very different kind of roulette in this particular instance.

The Deer Hunter describes the trials and tribulations of a group of American soldiers who are captured and interned in POW camps by the Vietcong.

In one of the movie’s most intense scenes, Sgt. Mike Vronsky (Roberto De Niro) and Cpl. Nick Chebotarevich (Christopher Walken) are forced to play Russian roulette while their captors bet on the outcome.

The film also starred Meryl Streep and the late John Cazale (perhaps better known as Fredo in The Godfather), who died of cancer shortly after filming his parts.

It won five Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Supporting Actor for Walken’s performance.

Age of the Gods Roulette

Age of the Gods Roulette RTP = 95.73%

The object of the game is to predict where the ball will come to rest on the Roulette wheel. It differs from other roulette games since in addition to the numbers 1 through 36 the Roulette wheel consists of the special Age of the Gods™ Bonus bet position.

To play the game:

  • Click on a chip of the desired value to select it.
  • Hovering the mouse pointer over any position of the table layout brings up a tooltip that shows the type of the bet that is placed in that betting area, the payout of that bet type, the minimum and maximum bet limits for that kind of bet, and your current bet amount on that position. In addition, the numbers that will be included in the bet are highlighted on the table layout.
  • Place your bet by clicking on a number or betting area on the Roulette table. Every click on the betting area adds one chip of the selected value to the bet. All different betting options and corresponding payouts are explained in the Age of the Gods™ Roulette Rules section.
  • The minimum and maximum bet limits are dependent on your VIP level. If a bet is below the minimum limit, a message about an insufficient bet is shown and the respective chips on the table are highlighted three times. For detailed information on bet limits for all positions, click on the details sign on the table.
  • To increase the bet by another amount, select another chip and click on the desired betting area.
  • Shift-clicking (holding down the Shift key and clicking) on the betting area removes one chip of the same value as the selected chip from the bet, or the entire bet if the selected chip is greater in value than the bet placed.
  • You can place several chips into different betting areas simultaneously. The bets that involve several numbers may also involve the Age of the Gods™ Bonus position.
  • A timer shows the remaining time to place bets. When you have placed your bets, click Confirm Bets to confirm your bets. Once a bet is confirmed, it cannot be removed from the table any more. You can place additional bets after confirming some bets as long as there is time left on the timer, but you have to click Confirm Bets again. Only confirmed bets participate in a game round and all unconfirmed bets are returned.
  • Vegas may disable the timer feature for a table. If the table does not have a timer, click Spin to set the ball spinning after you have placed your bets. Clicking Clear Bets removes all the placed bets from the table. Clicking Double doubles the bets you have placed on the table. After a spin, click Rebet to place the same bet as during the previous spin, and Spin to set the ball spinning or click Rebet & Spin to place the same bet or Double & Spin to place double the bet and spin the wheel immediately.
  • The winning bets remain on the table. You can remove them like any other bet or leave them on the table for the next round. Vegas may disable this feature for a table. If it is disabled, then the chips that were placed on the winning positions are returned to you together with your winnings.

Age of the Gods™ Bonus

If you placed the bet on the Age of the Gods™ Bonus position and the Roulette ball will come to rest on the Age of the Gods™ Bonus position on the Roulette wheel, you are taken to the Age of the Gods™ Bonus round. The Bonus round is a three-reel slot game that uses the bet that was placed on the Age of the Gods™ position in the main game. The object of the Age of the Gods™ Bonus round is to obtain three identical Age of the Gods™ symbols by spinning the reels. You get three spins to increase your winnings. You must click Spin for each bonus spin. The Bonus game uses the following eight Age of the Gods™ symbols:

Pays Pays
x100 x15
x50 x10
x25 x8
x20 x5

The winnings are calculated according to the paytable above the reels. Clicking Continue returns you to the main game. Entering the bonus round guarantees a win.

Age of the Gods™ Jackpot

The Age of the Gods™ Jackpot is a multi-level mystery progressive jackpot that is linked to the Age of Gods series of games. A small percentage of each bet placed in any of the Age of Gods games is added to the progressive jackpot. The percentage of all bets placed is split between four jackpot levels, which are displayed in the upper part of the game screen, above the reels.

Any level of the Age of the Gods™ Jackpot can be won through the jackpot game, which can be triggered randomly after any main game spin in any of the Age of Gods series of games. It is not triggered by any symbol combination, and even a main game spin that does not result in a win can trigger the jackpot game. Triggering the jackpot game is possible at any bet size, but the chances increase or decrease proportionally with the size of the bet.

Entering the jackpot game guarantees a win of one of the four jackpots: Power Jackpot, Extra Power Jackpot, Super Power Jackpot and Ultimate Power Jackpot. The four different jackpot levels represent different prize amounts, with the Power Jackpot awarding the smallest prize and the Ultimate Power Jackpot awarding the highest.

The jackpot game screen shows 20 face down coins. Clicking on a coin will reveal one of four jackpot symbols. Each jackpot symbol corresponds to one of the four progressive jackpots. Once three matching symbols have been revealed, the corresponding jackpot level will be awarded. The jackpot winnings are added to the main game winnings (if any) and are displayed in the Win field together with any other winnings.

The Age of the Gods™ Jackpot game has a timeout timer. If a matching set of coins is not revealed by the player before the set amount of time elapses, coins will be revealed automatically and the corresponding jackpot will be awarded.

The Jackpot for this game works like this:

Seed (how much money the Jackpots start out with): Power: €50
Extra Power: €500
Super Power: €5,000
Ultimate Power: €100,000
Contribution rate (what percentage of each bet goes into Jackpot): 0.99%
Win condition (the result you have to get to win the Jackpot): Entering the jackpot game guarantees a win. Match 3 jackpot symbols of the corresponding Jackpot or wait for the timer to run out.
Win requirements (what you need to do to be eligible for the Jackpot): Play a game linked to the Age of the Gods™ Jackpot.

Please note:

  • The seed and Jackpot values are in Euros in the progressive network and their value in your local currency is dependent on the currency exchange rate.
  • The mechanics of Age of the Gods™ Jackpot prohibit simultaneous jackpot winnings.
  • Imperfections in the Internet connectivity may cause you to experience delays in Jackpot messages or updates, but they do not affect actual Jackpot wins.

Table and Table Features

A Roulette table consists of two parts – the Roulette wheel and the Roulette layout. The Roulette layout is the area on the table where the players place their bets. This table uses the European style layout, which has a single zero and the Age of the Gods™ Bonus position. In addition to the standard roulette layout, this table also includes the Racetrack (see below for further information). The Roulette wheel consists of numbers 1 through 36, alternately colored red and black, plus 0, which is green, plus Age of the Gods™ Bonus position, which is purple.

You can toggle the spin direction of the Roulette wheel between clockwise and counter-clockwise by clicking the Direction button.

Racetrack

The Racetrack is an extended part of the Roulette layout that allows you to place the following announce bets by clicking on the corresponding section on the Racetrack – Tier, Orphelins, Voisins du Zero and Neighbours. More information on those bets can be found in the Age of the Gods™ Roulette Rules section.

Favourite Bets

You can save up to four sets of bets as the favourite bets which you can then place on the table with just one click of a button.

To save a bet, place any number of chips on any position on the table, then click the Favourite Bets button (see the buttons section below) and click any of the Save Bet buttons. Upon saving a bet, that button turns into a Bet 1-4 button. Clicking the button of any saved bet adds the same chips to the same bet positions as the ones that were on the table when that bet was saved.

If you have saved four favourite bets, you need to first clear one of the bets to save a new favourite bet in its place. To clear a bet, click the X button beside the bet that you want to remove.

More Bets

The More bets dialog includes additional betting options that allow you to quickly place multiple bets with just one click of a button.

    • Final bets allow you to place a bet on that number and any number that ends with the selected digit. For example, clicking the 1 button will place a bet on 1, 11, 21 and 31.
    • Complete and Half complete options allow you to place the different bets that all include the same number. If either of these options is checked, then the following inside bets are placed on the certain number whenever you place a straight up bet.
Bet type Number of chips Placed with
Straight up bet 1 Both
All possible Split bets 2 Both
All possible Street bets 3 Complete only
All possible Corner bets 4 Both
All possible Line bets 6 Complete only

For example, if you place one chip as a straight up bet on the number 20 while the Complete option is checked, then two chips are placed on the splits 17-20, 19-20, 20-21 and 20-23; three chips are placed on the street 19-20-21; four chips are placed on the corners 16-17-19-20, 17-18-20-21, 19-20-22-23 and 20-21-23-24; six chips are placed on the lines 16-17-18-19-20-21 and 19-20-21-22-23-24.

History and Statistics

The history panel shows the results of the previous spins. It also includes the table coverage indicator which shows the percentage of the Roulette wheel covered by the currently placed bets.

The distribution of the results over a longer period can be found in the Stats panel. Click the Stats button (see the buttons section below) to view the statistics. The panel displays a representation of the roulette wheel, where the sectors of the numbers and the Age of the Gods™ Bonus position have been made into a bar graph. The bigger the bar for a number or the Age of the Gods™ Bonus, the more times that number or the Age of the Gods™ Bonus has been the result of a spin when compared to other numbers on the wheel. Clicking on a number or the Age of the Gods™ Bonus in the Stats display will add a chip of the selected value to the bet on that number or the Age of the Gods™ Bonus position. Shift-clicking will remove a chip of the selected value from the bet on that number or the Age of the Gods™ Bonus position.

The center part of the roulette wheel shows the distribution of red, black, green (i.e. 0) and purple (i.e. Age of the Gods™ Bonus) results in the statistics period. Hovering the mouse pointer over the center area brings up a tooltip that shows the exact percentages of the distribution.

Autoplay

The feature offers you two modes of autoplay – simple and advanced. In simple mode you can choose the number of rounds to play. In advanced mode you can set stop conditions such as large wins or overall balance change in addition to the number of rounds to play.

To use autoplay, you need to place a bet on the table; an identical bet will be automatically placed in each consecutive round during autoplay (if the table has a timer and bets need to be confirmed, then this bet is also immediately confirmed at the start of each new round). Once you have placed the bet that you want to use during autoplay, click the Autoplay button and then choose the number of rounds to immediately start the selected number of autoplay rounds in simple mode; if you select Advanced mode, the autoplay is switched into advanced mode where you can select additional conditions for the autoplay.

The advanced mode includes the following stop conditions, which will cause autoplay to stop even if the number of spins has not been exceeded. Check the box next to the condition to enable it.

  • Stop on any win. Autoplay will stop if any of your bets result in a win.
  • Stop when win exceeds. Autoplay will stop if any of your bets result in a win that exceeds the set amount. You can enter any monetary amount in the field or use the + and – buttons to increase or decrease this amount by the value of the selected chip.
  • Stop when balance exceeds. Autoplay will stop when your balance exceeds the set amount. You can enter any monetary amount in the field or use the + and – buttons to increase or decrease this amount by the value of the selected chip.
  • Stop when balance below. Autoplay will stop when your balance drops below the set amount. You can enter any monetary amount in the field or use the + and – buttons to increase or decrease this amount by the value of the selected chip.
  • Spins. This option determines the number of spins that will be played in autoplay. You can enter any number of spins from 1 to 99 or use the + and – buttons to increase or decrease the number of spins by one.

To start the autoplay in the advanced mode, click the Start button. During autoplay, the Start button changes into the Stop button that stops the autoplay when clicked. Note that it is only possible to change the number of spins while autoplay is active; it is not possible to change the stop conditions. In order to change the stop conditions, the autoplay has to be stopped.

If the Age of the Gods™ Bonus is won during the Autoplay, you are automatically taken to the bonus round. When the bonus round is over, clicking Continue resumes the Autoplay.

If the Age of the Gods™ Jackpot is won during the Autoplay, you are automatically taken to the jackpot round. When the jackpot round is over, clicking Continue resumes the Autoplay.

Note that if the table has a timer then all unconfirmed bets are immediately confirmed when autoplay is started.

To close the advanced mode of autoplay and continue playing manually, click the x button on the autoplay option bar.

Vegas may disable the autoplay feature for a table. In this case, the Autoplay button does not appear in the game window and the autoplay feature will be unavailable.

About Payouts

The payouts of games can be given in a number of different formats. To help you understand how to read the different payouts, each format used in our games is explained here.

1 to 1

If you bet on a position that pays 1 to 1, then this means that when you win, you get your bet back and the casino will also pay you exactly the same amount that you bet. For example, if you place 5 chips as a bet and win on a position that pays 1 to 1, then you first get back the 5 chips that you bet and you also receive 5 chips from the casino, for a total of 10 chips in that round.

2 for 1

If you bet on a position that pays 2 for 1, then this means that when you win, the casino will pay you an amount that is twice your bet, but your initial bet is not returned. For example, if you place 5 chips as a bet and win on a position that pays 2 for 1, then you receive 10 chips from the casino.

1 : 1

This format is equivalent to 1 to 1.

Announce or Call Bets:

The racetrack, located above the Roulette table enables placing special bets. The racetrack duplicates the Roulette wheel – the order of the numbers is the same. You can place the Announce or Call Bets by selecting a chip and then clicking on the corresponding section on the racetrack.

Voisins du zero

A bet on the neighbors of 0 on the Roulette wheel that includes every number on the wheel between 22 and 25, covering nearly half of the wheel and including the zero and the Age of the Gods™ Bonus position. The Voisins du Zero bet places nine chips on the board, one chip as Split Bet on the Age of the Gods™ Bonus position/0, one chip as Split Bet on 2/3, two chips as Corner Bet on 25/26/28/29 and one chip each as Split Bet on 4/7, 12/15, 18/21, 19/22 and 32/35. The total of the Voisins Du Zero bet is 9 x the selected chip value. The payout is as follows:

If winning number is one of these Player will get paid thus: Player’s true profit:
0, 2, 3, 4, 7, 12, 15, 18, 19, 21, 22, 32, 35 17 chips (17:1) + 1 chip 17 + 1 – 9 = 9 chips
25, 26, 28, 29 16 chips (8:1) + 2 chips 16 + 2 – 9 = 9 chips
Age of the Gods™ Bonus Total win of the bonus round Total win of the bonus round – 9 chips

Tier

A bet on the sector of the Roulette wheel opposite the 0 that covers about a third of the Roulette wheel between 33 and 27. The Tier bet places six chips on the board as Split Bets on 5/8, 10/11, 13/16, 23/24, 27/30 and 33/36. The total of the Tier bet is 6 x the selected chip value. The true profit on this bet is: 17 + 1 – 6 = 12 chips. So the payout is 12:6 or 2:1.

Final Bet

A bet on all the numbers on the Roulette wheel that have the same last digit. For example, “Final 5” means a bet on the numbers 5, 15, 25, 35.
This bet places four chips when 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 is selected as the last digit – one chip on each number as a Straight Bet. If the spin result is one of these numbers, the payout is the regular Straight Bet win on that number. Thus, your profit will be 35 + 1 – 4 chips = 32 chips.
However, the bet places three chips when 7, 8 or 9 is selected as the last digit – one chip on each number as a Straight Bet. Thus, your profit in this case will be 35 + 1 – 3 = 33 chips.

Orphelins

A bet on the numbers 17, 34, 6, 1, 20, 14, 31, 9. This bet places five chips, one Straight Bet on the number 1 and five chips as Split Bets on 6/9, 14/17, 17/ 20, 31/34. Note that number 17 participate in two splits (14/17 and 17/20). The payout is as follows:

If winning number is one of these: Player will get paid thus: Player’s true profit:
1 35 chips (35:1) + 1 chip 35 + 1 – 5 = 31 chips
6, 9, 14, 20, 31, 34 17 chips (17:1) + 1 chip 17 + 1 – 5 = 13 chips
17 34 chips (17:1) + 2 chips 34 + 2 – 5 = 31 chips

Neighbors

A bet on five numbers located next to each other on the Roulette wheel. Select the desired neighboring numbers by moving along the racetrack with your mouse. Click on the racetrack to place your bet. The total of a racetrack bet is 5 x the selected chip value. For example, “8 and the neighbors” means that the player places a bet on five consecutive numbers 11-30-8-23-10 (8 is in the middle). The true payout is 35 + 1 – 5 = 31 chips.

Wild Viking Card Roulette Game

Wild Viking

Wild Viking is a casino game that is based on roulette. Instead of using a roulette wheel and a ball, the results are determined by five cards drawn by the dealer. The cards are drawn from a shuffled deck, which contains 52 cards and two Jokers. The betting table features different areas for different bets, drawn out as a table of a card deck with additional bets for Red/Black, Even/Odd etc.

The gameplay is similar to roulette – you have the option to make multiple bets. To place bets, select the chip value and left-click on the area on which you wish to bet. Shift-click to reduce or remove a bet. Note that while shift-clicking the bet, the amount removed is equal to the chip value currently selected. You can remove all bets by clicking the Clear Bets button.

When all bets are placed, press the Deal button to draw five cards from the deck.

  • The last card drawn determines the outcome of all Roulette Bets.
  • If the last card is a Joker, all bets lose except for the Wild Viking Bet, the Poker Bets and the Progressive Bet.
  • All five cards combined determine the outcome of the PokerBets and the Progressive Bet.
  • The first and the last card drawn determine the outcome of the Wild Viking Bet.

Multiplayer French Roulette

Multiplayer French Roulette

The object of the game is to predict where the ball will come to rest on the Roulette wheel.

Multiplayer

A multiplayer table can have spectators and up to four players. When you join a multiplayer table, you will be a spectator at first. As a spectator, you can see the gameplay and other players’ chat, but you cannot place bets or chat yourself.
If the table has open seats, click Join to sit down at the table and start playing.

Keep in mind, that idle players and spectators can view the table for a limited number of rounds.

All different betting options and corresponding payouts are explained in the Multiplayer French Roulette Rules section.
    • The minimum and maximum bet limits are dependent on your VIP level. If a bet is below the minimum limit, a message about an insufficient bet is shown and the respective chips on the table are highlighted three times. For detailed information on bet limits for all positions, click on the details sign on the table.
    • The color of chips a player uses depends on the seat where the player is seated and is indicated by the color of the player’s name tag.

  • You have limited time to place your bets. A timer shows the remaining time to place bets. When you have placed your bets, click Confirm Bets to confirm your bets. Once a bet is confirmed, it cannot be removed from the table any more. You can collapse the chat area by clicking the title bar of the chat window. Clicking the title bar again expands the chat area.

Table and Table Features

A Roulette table consists of two parts – the Roulette wheel and the Roulette layout. The Roulette layout is the area on the table where the players place their bets. This table uses the French style layout, which has a single zero. The Roulette wheel consists of numbers 1 through 36, alternately colored red and black, plus 0, which is green.

You can change the table color of the Roulette layout by clicking the Color button (see the buttons section below).

The panel displays a representation of the roulette wheel, where the sectors of the numbers have been made into a bar graph. The bigger the bar for a number, the more times that number has been the result of a spin when compared to other numbers on the wheel. Clicking on a number in the Stats display will add a chip of the selected value to the bet on that number. Shift-clicking will remove a chip of the selected value from the bet on that number.

The center part of the roulette wheel shows the distribution of red, black and green (i.e. 0 ) results in the statistics period. Hovering the mouse pointer over the center area brings up a tooltip that shows the exact percentages of the distribution.

Return to Player

The theoretical percentage return to player (RTP) is 98.65% on even money bets (see La Partage Rule) and 97.30% on all other bets.

For example, in the case of Finales a Cheval 9/10, four chips are placed to cover 9, 10, 19/20, 29/30, If 9 or 10 is hit, the return is 35 + 1 – 4 = 32 chips. If 19, 20, 29 or 30 is hit, the return is 17 + 1 – 4 = 14 chips.
2 numbers 17 to 1

The winning number always pays 35 to 1. The return, however, depends on the number of chips involved in the bet. If, for example, the bet is placed on five consecutive numbers 11-30-8-23-10, it involves five chips. If one of the numbers is hit, the return is 35 + 1 – 5 = 31 chips.

La Partage Rule
The game uses the La Partage rule. According the rule, you lose only half of your even-money bets when the spinning result is zero.

Multiplayer European Roulette

Multiplayer European Roulette

The object of the game is to predict where the ball will come to rest on the Roulette wheel.

Multiplayer

A multiplayer table can have spectators and up to four players. When you join a multiplayer table, you will be a spectator at first. As a spectator, you can see the gameplay and other players’ chat, but you cannot place bets or chat yourself.
If the table has open seats, click Join to sit down at the table and start playing.

Keep in mind, that idle players and spectators can view the table for a limited number of rounds.

All different betting options and corresponding payouts are explained in the Multiplayer European Roulette Rules section.
  • You have limited time to place your bets. A timer shows the remaining time to place bets. When you have placed your bets, click Confirm Bets to confirm your bets. Once a bet is confirmed, it cannot be removed from the table any more. You can place additional bets after confirming some bets as long as there is time left on the timer, but you have to click Confirm Bets again. Only confirmed bets participate in a game round and all unconfirmed bets are returned.
  • You can click Clear Bets to remove all the chips you have not confirmed from the table. Clicking Double doubles the bets you have placed on the table.
  • After a spin, click Rebet to place the same bet as during the previous spin. You still have to click Confirm Bets to confirm the bets.
  • Casino.com may disable the timer feature for a table.

Chat

The chat window allows chatting between players. To send a message to other players at the table, move the cursor to the input area at the lower side of the chat window and left-click to active it. Then, type a message and click Send.

The following emoticons can be used:

🙂 🙁
:\ 😛
:O 😉
😀 😕
8) 😐
(roll) (lol)
(angel) (devil)

You can collapse the chat area by clicking the title bar of the chat window. Clicking the title bar again expands the chat area.

Table and Table Features

A Roulette table consists of two parts – the Roulette wheel and the Roulette layout. The Roulette layout is the area on the table where the players place their bets. This table uses the European style layout, which has a single zero. The Roulette wheel consists of numbers 1 through 36, alternately colored red and black, plus 0, which is green.

You can change the table color of the Roulette layout by clicking the Color button (see the buttons section below).

Racetrack

The Racetrack is an extended part of the Roulette layout that allows you to place the following announce bets by clicking on the corresponding section on the Racetrack – Tier, Orphelins, Voisins du Zero and Neighbours. More information on those bets can be found in the Multiplayer European Roulette Rules section.

The theoretical percentage return to player (RTP) is 97.30%.

Multiplayer European Roulette Rules

There are several ways to place bets in Multiplayer European Roulette. Each bet covers a different set of numbers and has a different distribution. Payouts for all the bets are listed in the Winnings table below.

Straight Up

An inside bet on a single number. The chips are placed entirely in the middle of a number (including 0) on the Roulette table.

Split Bet

An inside bet on two neighboring numbers, either on the vertical or the horizontal direction. The chips are placed on the line that divides the two numbers.

Street Bet

An inside bet on three numbers on a single vertical line (a street). The chips are placed on the lower edge of the board, at the end of the corresponding street.
A bet on three numbers 0, 1 and 2 or 0, 2 and 3 is a special Street Bet. The chips are placed on the T-section where the three numbers meet.

Corner Bet

An inside bet on four numbers. The chips are placed at the cross where the four numbers meet.

Four Bet

An inside bet on the numbers 0, 1, 2, and 3. The chips are placed on the lower edge of the board, at the end of the line between 0 and the first row.

Line Bet

An inside bet on six numbers (two neighboring streets). The chips are placed on the lower edge of the Roulette table, at the T-section where the two streets meet.

Column Bet

An outside bet on all twelve numbers on any of the three horizontal lines. The chips are placed to the right side of the Roulette table, in one of the three boxes labelled “2 to 1”. If one of the numbers in the selected column is hit, the payout is 2:1. 0 is a losing number.

Dozen Bet

An outside bet on the first (1-12), second (13-24), or third group (25-36) of twelve numbers. The chips are placed in one of the three boxes marked “1st 12,” “2nd 12” or “3rd 12.” If one of the selected 12 numbers is hit, the payout is 2:1. 0 is a losing number.

Red/Black Bet

An outside bet on the outcome of a particular color, either red or black. The chips are placed on the red or black betting area on the Roulette table. If the selected color is hit, the payout is 1:1. 0 is a losing number.

Even/Odd Bet

An outside bet on the outcome of either an even or an odd number. The chips are placed on Even or Odd on the Roulette table. If the selected outcome is hit, the payout is 1:1. 0 is a losing number.

Low/High Bet

An outside bet on whether the outcome of the next spin will be low (numbers 1 to 18) or high (numbers 19 to 36). The chips are placed on “1 to 18” or “19 to 36”. If the selected outcome is hit, the payout is 1:1. 0 is a losing number.

Limits

Minimum and maximum position limits are applied to all tables, meaning that all your bets on available positions must be within the indicated limits.
The Min and Max sign on the table indicates the limits for a Straight Up bet. Click the limits sign to bring up a panel that shows the payouts and limits for all positions.

Some tables also have a minimum and maximum table limit, meaning that the sum of your bets must be within the limits. These limits are also shown on the limits panel.

Winnings Table

Chip Covers Term Pays
1 number Straight Up 35 to 1
2 numbers Split Bet 17 to 1
3 numbers Street Bet 11 to 1
4 numbers Corner Bet 8 to 1
4 numbers Four Bet 8 to 1
6 numbers Line Bet 5 to 1
12 numbers Dozen Bet or Column Bet 2 to 1
18 numbers Red/Black, Even/Odd or Low/High Bets 1 to 1

Note: You can place bets that involve two, three, or even four numbers. For example, using the zero, you can place bets on: 1+0, 1+2+0, 2+0, 3+0, or 1+2+3+0.

A bet on the neighbors of 0 on the Roulette wheel that includes every number on the wheel between 22 and 25, covering nearly half of the wheel and including the zero. The Voisins du Zero bet places nine chips on the board, two chips on the triplet 0/2/3, two chips as Corner Bet on 25/26/28/29 and one chip each as Split Bet on 4/7, 12/15, 18/21, 19/22 and 32/35. The total of the Voisins Du Zero bet is 9 x the selected chip value. The payout is as follows:

If winning number is one of these Player will get paid thus: Player’s true profit:
4, 7, 12, 15, 18, 19, 21, 22, 32, 35 17 chips (17:1) + 1 chip 17 + 1 – 9 = 9 chips
0, 2, 3 22 chips (11:1) + 2 chips 22 + 2 – 9 = 15 chips
25, 26, 28, 29 16 chips (8:1) + 2 chips 16 + 2 – 9 = 9 chips

Pinball Roulette

Pinball Roulette

The object of Pinball Roulette is to predict where the ball will come to rest on the Roulette strip. The Pinball Roulette strip consists of numbers 1 through 36, alternately colored red and black, plus 0, which is green.

The minimum and maximum bet limits are dependent on your VIP level.

All the different betting options and corresponding payouts are explained in the section Pinball Roulette Rules.

To play the game:

  • On the lower left of the game window, click on a chip of the desired value to select it.
  • Place your bet:
    • Click on a number or a betting area on the board.
    • Place a neighbour bet below the board.
  • If you wish to increase the bet by a different amount then select another chip and place your bet.
  • To decrease a placed bet, click Undo last bet to remove the most recently placed chip, or Clear all bets to remove all the chips placed on the board.
  • You can place several chips into different betting areas simultaneously. Your total bet is shown in the lower right of the game window, in the field Stake.
  • The lower edge of the game window contains the following game-related buttons.
    • Turbo Bet – Clicking this button enables the turbo betting mode. In the turbo betting mode, the ball animation is skipped and the result is shown instantly. The turbo mode also applies to the bonus round.
    • Repeat Bet – Clicking this button places the same bet as during the previous game round. After clicking Repeat Bet you can also place other bets, if you wish. Note that after clicking Repeat Bet you must click Bet to set the ball in motion.

    • In the bonus round you can increase the winnings from the main game, but you may also lose them. Once you choose Gamble, the ball is launched into the pinball playfield. If the ball hits one or more multiplier bumpers lighting up the multiplier stars and then falls into the wide slot in the lower middle, you win.
    • During the bonus round you can win up to 10 times your bonus round bet (i.e. the win from the main game round) depending on the number of hit multipliers.
    • If the ball does not light up any multipliers, you lose your bet and the bonus round ends.
    • If the ball lights up the multiplier bumpers but falls into one of the Lose slots, you lose your bet and the bonus round ends.
    • After a winning bonus round you can choose to gamble again by clicking Gamble or collect the winnings by clicking Collect.
    • If the ball rolls through the Bonus ball! chute during the bonus round, the Lose slots are removed for that round. This means that it is not possible to lose existing winnings during this round. So, even if the ball does not hit any multipliers, your winnings are safe!
    • If you choose to gamble again after the Bonus ball! round, the Lose slots reappear and the round is played like regular bonus round.
  • After a non-winning game round click New Game to play again, or Repeat Bet to play again with the same bet as during the previous game round.

Marvel Roulette

Marvel Roulette

The object of the game is to predict where the ball will come to rest on the Roulette wheel. It differs from other roulette games since in addition to the numbers 1 through 36 the Roulette wheel consists of the special Marvel Bonus bet position.

To play the game:

Click on a chip of the desired value to select it.
Hovering the mouse pointer over any position of the table layout brings up a tooltip that shows the type of the bet that is placed in that betting area, the payout of that bet type, the minimum and maximum bet limits for that kind of bet, and your current bet amount on that position. In addition, the numbers that will be included in the bet are highlighted on the table layout.
Place your bet by clicking on a number or betting area on the Roulette table. Every click on the betting area adds one chip of the selected value to the bet. All different betting options and corresponding payouts are explained in the Marvel Roulette Rules section.
The minimum and maximum bet limits are dependent on your VIP level. If a bet is below the minimum limit, a message about an insufficient bet is shown and the respective chips on the table are highlighted three times. For detailed information on bet limits for all positions, click on the details sign on the table.
To increase the bet by another amount, select another chip and click on the desired betting area.
Shift-clicking (holding down the Shift key and clicking) on the betting area removes one chip of the same value as the selected chip from the bet, or the entire bet if the selected chip is greater in value than the bet placed.
You can place several chips into different betting areas simultaneously. The bets that involve several numbers may also involve the Marvel Bonus position.
Europa Casino may disable the timer feature for a table.
The winning bets remain on the table. You can remove them like any other bet or leave them on the table for the next round. Europa Casino may disable this feature for a table. If it is disabled, then the chips that were placed on the winning positions are returned to you together with your winnings.

Marvel Bonus

If you placed the bet on the Marvel Bonus position and the Roulette ball will come to rest on the Marvel Bonus position on the Roulette wheel, you are taken to the Marvel Bonus round. The Bonus round is a three-reel slot game that uses the bet that was placed on the Marvel position in the main game. The object of the Marvel Bonus round is to obtain three identical Marvel symbols by spinning the reels. You get three spins to increase your winnings. You must click Spin for each bonus spin. The Bonus game uses the following eight Marvel symbols:
Pays Pays
x100 x15
x50 x10
x25 x8
x20 x5

The winnings are calculated according to the paytable above the reels. Clicking Continue returns you to the main game. Entering the bonus round guarantees a win.

Marvel Mystery Jackpot

Marvel Mystery Jackpot is a multi-level progressive jackpot game that is available in all Marvel games and is linked to all Marvel games. A small percentage of each bet in the Marvel games, by every person playing this game in each of many online casinos, is added to the progressive jackpot.

The trigger that starts the Jackpot game is random and can occur after any spin in any of the linked games. It is not caused by any symbol combination in the linked games and even a spin that does not win anything in the main game can trigger the Jackpot game. Likewise, any bet with any size in the linked games can trigger the Jackpot game. Nonetheless, the chances of triggering the Jackpot game increase or decrease proportionally to the bet size. Entering the Jackpot game guarantees a win of one of the four jackpots. Playing the Jackpot game reveals the jackpot that has been awarded to you, but does not determine it.

There are four different levels of jackpots that you can win: Power Jackpot, Extra Power Jackpot, Super Power Jackpot and Ultimate Power Jackpot. Different types of jackpots hold different prize amounts. The jackpot gamescreen contains 20 squares which in the beginning of the gameplay are turned upside down. Clicking on a square will turn it around and reveal one of four jackpot symbols on the other side. Once you have found three matching symbols, you win the jackpot that corresponds to these symbols. Jackpot winnings are added to the main game winnings (if any) and are displayed in the Win field together with any other winnings.

The Marvel Mystery Jackpot game has a timeout timer. This means that if you do not pick a square in a set amount of time, you will automatically receive your prize.

Win requirements (what you need to do to be eligible for the Jackpot): Play a Marvel game.

Please note:

The seed and Jackpot values are in Euros in the progressive network and their value in your local currency is dependent on the currency exchange rate.
The mechanics of Marvel Mystery Jackpot prohibit simultaneous jackpot winnings.
Imperfections in the Internet connectivity may cause you to experience delays in Jackpot messages or updates, but they do not affect actual Jackpot wins.

Table and Table Features

A Roulette table consists of two parts – the Roulette wheel and the Roulette layout. The Roulette layout is the area on the table where the players place their bets. This table uses the European style layout, which has a single zero and the Marvel Bonus position. In addition to the standard roulette layout, this table also includes the Racetrack (see below for further information). The Roulette wheel consists of numbers 1 through 36, alternately colored red and black, plus 0, which is green, plus Marvel Bonus position, which is blue.

More information on those bets can be found in the Marvel Roulette Rules section.

Final bets allow you to place a bet on that number and any number that ends with the selected digit. For example, clicking the 1 button will place a bet on 1, 11, 21 and 31.
Complete and Half complete options allow you to place the different bets that all include the same number.

The panel displays a representation of the roulette wheel, where the sectors of the numbers and the Marvel Bonus position have been made into a bar graph. The bigger the bar for a number or the Marvel Bonus, the more times that number or the Marvel Bonus has been the result of a spin when compared to other numbers on the wheel. Clicking on a number or the Marvel Bonus in the Stats display will add a chip of the selected value to the bet on that number or the Marvel Bonus position. Shift-clicking will remove a chip of the selected value from the bet on that number or the Marvel Bonus position.

The center part of the roulette wheel shows the distribution of red, black, green (i.e. 0) and blue (i.e. Marvel Bonus) results in the statistics period.

Stop on any win. Autoplay will stop if any of your bets result in a win.
Stop when win exceeds. Autoplay will stop if any of your bets result in a win that exceeds the set amount. You can enter any monetary amount in the field or use the + and – buttons to increase or decrease this amount by the value of the selected chip.
Stop when balance exceeds. Autoplay will stop when your balance exceeds the set amount. You can enter any monetary amount in the field or use the + and – buttons to increase or decrease this amount by the value of the selected chip.
Stop when balance below. Autoplay will stop when your balance drops below the set amount. You can enter any monetary amount in the field or use the + and – buttons to increase or decrease this amount by the value of the selected chip.
Spins.

If the Marvel Bonus is won during the Autoplay, you are automatically taken to the bonus round. When the bonus round is over, clicking Continue resumes the Autoplay.

If the Marvel Mystery Jackpot is won during the Autoplay, you are automatically taken to the jackpot round. When the jackpot round is over, clicking Continue resumes the Autoplay.

Note that if the table has a timer then all unconfirmed bets are immediately confirmed when autoplay is started.

To close the advanced mode of autoplay and continue playing manually, click the x button on the autoplay option bar.

Europa Casino may disable the autoplay feature for a table. In this case, the Autoplay button does not appear in the game window and the autoplay feature will be unavailable.
